Nawab Moazam Khan is the Founder and Director of Highland Odysseys Pvt. Ltd., a distinguished adventure travel company known for curating exceptional journeys through the breathtaking landscapes of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Zanskar, Kishtawar, and beyond. With a deep passion for exploration, Nawab has dedicated his life to traversing the world’s most rugged and challenging terrains, establishing himself as a respected authority in trekking, mountaineering, and extreme sports.

A proud alumnus of Tyndale Biscoe School and the University of Kashmir, where he earned his Master’s degree in Tourism and Travel Management, Nawab’s academic background in tourism is complemented by extensive practical experience in outdoor sports. A qualified mountaineer, mountain athlete, runner, skier, scuba diver, triathlete, long-distance swimmer, and adventure racer, Nawab’s diverse skill set mirrors his broad passion for adventure.

His professional journey in trekking and mountaineering spans some of the most challenging and remote landscapes in the world, including Kashmir, Ladakh, Zanskar, Kishtawar, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Nepal, and Malaysia. Nawab’s in-depth knowledge of high-altitude terrains, paired with rigorous training from renowned institutions such as the Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports (JIMWS), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), and the Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering (IISM), enables him to deliver a unique and safe adventure experience. He holds certifications from the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), PADI, and has completed first aid training at the Hanifl Center and Red Cross.

Outside his professional and adventurous career, Nawab is deeply passionate about cultural and intellectual pursuits. An avid reader, he explores a wide range of topics, from geography and history to culture and Urdu poetry, enriching his understanding of the diverse cultures and histories of the regions he visits. His love for photography further enhances his journey, allowing him to capture the majestic landscapes and vibrant cultures he encounters, telling stories through his lens.

Nawab is also an active member of the Jammu and Kashmir Mountaineering and Adventure Club, the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), and an engaged participant in the NGO CAUSE (Concerned About Universal Social Empowerment), which advocates for social empowerment through community development initiatives. His commitment to these causes reflects his belief in using adventure as a means to foster positive change and growth.
